Credihealth helps you find the best cardiologists in Hyderabad

Cardiologist in Hyderabad
The number of people with cardiological ailments is rising at an alarming rate in India. According to most reports, the percentage of these people increased most in the last two decades- urbanization being the biggest responsible factor. While many believe that the rising number of smokers and drinkers is adding on to the number, this alone is not the reason for the recent findings.

Increased exposure to pollution, unhealthy eating habits, irregular and less than adequate hours of sleep, a sedentary lifestyle, among other things; are contributing factors for the same. According to a report by DNA, about 60 percent of heart disease patients who die worldwide, are Indians.

One of the common cardiological ailments affecting a large percentage of the urban population is Atherosclerosis, which stands for a disease which causes stiffening or hardening of the walls of arteries. A person suffering from Atherosclerosis, has narrowed arteries due to accumulation of plaque, the signs of which are like chest pain, angina, shortness of breath and fatigue.

This condition usually begins in childhood but is sadly only detected at a very later stage. The same was the case with Amita Sharma. 53 years-old and a resident of Hyderabad, Amita was suddenly feeling extremely uneasy. She was sweating and was short of breath. Fearing a serious heart problem, her daughter Shweta called us up and asked us to find her mother a Cardiologist in Hyderabad, not too far from her place. Soon, Amita was rushed to the hospital and her doctor started her on treatment.
